I use it as a carpet pad. I am completely satisfied with it. On the downside, the fiberglass is very stiff, it's always sticking out, and if it gets out on the end, it will cling until you paint over it with something, sawing it off or cutting it off is not an option

The base is not bad, but you need skill to apply it. As a strengthening and repair of nails is suitable. The fibers are really very long. There are variants of another manufacturer with a more comfortable application. I will use this base, but not permanently.
